I'm looking for information as to what this is. The "all-knowing" Google is stumped.

This is part of the LCD circuitry for my Zenith SuperSlim 286 laptop. That's all that I can figure. The reason why I want to even mess with it is due to the corrosion on the underside of the motherboard on the pins of this part. It does have VGA onboard, so if I can't replace it, I'll look into trying to replace the LCD altogether. Just trying for the cheapest option first.

That's what's known as a hybrid module. Usually a collection of discrete parts, occasionally with some simple logic, on a tiny board, thats then coated with epoxy and turned into a throughhole part. In this instance it could be anything - i cannot find a datasheet for the part.

Hi @Vintage_H._Shack! :) [wave]

Can you please take another picture behind that SANYO M67266 black part? It seems to be a resistor pack. I wonder what it looks like behind it and how it connects to the board down there?

I just looked and there is nothing but black on the back. No printing or any marks.

Thank you. :) It is how it connects to the board that I was wondering about. Hence the picture behind it.

Ah. Perhaps it is this? Does it have 30 pins?
