Anyone know how to do it? I have an image file, but my gotek gives error 31 - invalid image file. Doesn't seem to matter where I get the image from. Thoughts?

Did you happen to go the SELTOS/RAMTOS route? (https://www.8bitchip.info/atari/astopensw.php)
Ordinarily, you'd need to write the TOS image to suitable PROMs and replace those in the machine. The RAMTOS tool allows an alternate TOS to be loaded into RAM and used instead. Not 100% compatible, but handy to test-drive other TOSes before writing to chips. |
