I was surprised that I found my old Toshiba T1100 Plus at my parents during Christmas holidays. I thought that it has been lost!
I bought this computer maybe 15 years ago from a high school friend. I think I paid something like 500 SEK (~$50) at the time, and I remember that it felt like it was a bit too much even for an odd machine like this. The screen has never been on point, but I didn't remember that the characters looked like this. It feels like some kind of font or scaling issue since the same characters look the same, despite where on the screen they're displayed. (For sure the machine neeeeeeds a recap soon-ish, including the LCD). Any idea what it could be? [Image: IMG_20221227_233159.jpg] [Image: IMG_20221227_233327.jpg] [Image: IMG_20221227_233350.jpg]

Not much to add other than that I'd ask over on the VCF forums, great to have discussion here but there are way more PC people over there than the mostly mac crowd here. And I've seen a lot of Toshiba related stuff there, so I'll bet someone's seen this before. But yeah, I've heard these Toshiba laptops have pretty awful caps, so get them changed. Not sure if there are any on the screen though.
