Scooped these today. I haven't fired them up yet but both work per the original listing pics. I'm excited to see what software is on them.
Free aside from the gas to get across town. I'll fire them up this weekend & see what they are.

That is a funny advertisement! Thank you for sharing, @Drake. :)
Hey @Certificate of Excellence, what did you find out about those iLamps? Can they mimic you? |

The 15" has been wiped. The 17" has some SQL software on it that I'll back up to my NAS. Both are 800mhz. Both have little pressure marks on the lcd from little hands lol but is most noticeable in the 15. LCD bezel on the 17 is a bit yellowed so might be a neat project to cleanup this winter.

My 867 Powerbook g4's logicboard took a dirt nap last week so I have a random SSD I could stick into the 17". I already have an 800mhz 15" so I think I'll gift this 2nd one to my wife's best friend's husband. I have zero need for two of them. Now that I think about it, that SSD will probably get recycled into my 17" powerbook. I need to replace the trackpad ziff connector on it first but once I do that, my favorite powerbook will be ready to rumble. I should pull that 17 apart and clean it up, repaste, max the ram etc.
Now, all I need is a 20" and Im set on lampshades. Liked by retr01 |
