Just a link to my GitHub repo for my SBusFPGA project.
The goal of this repository is to be able to interface a modern (2020 era) FPGA with a SBus host. SBus was widely used in SPARCstation and compatibles system in the first half of the 90s. Click to expand...
Still some work needed to improve the drivers in NetBSD, but the micro-sd card, the 256 MiB RAM disk (for e.g. swap), the USB OHCI controller, the True Random Number Generator and a crypto accelerator are now working. There's even bw2/cg3/cg6 emulation, but the output has a very limited color range (only 2 bits per channel) so it's for prototyping - or if you want a 1920x1080 black-and-white VGA display on your SPARCstation :)
