I have a Retrobrite question. Something strange happened when I tried to Retrobrite an M0100 apple mouse and the top of an old M0110 keyboard via submersion...it streaked similar to when I had used the creme method. I'm at a loss as I don't know how submersion could result in streaks. Any idea what I did wrong? Also will trying again resolved the issue?

Thank you for your feedback.

What was your RetroBright formula? I always dunk my small parts in tupperware filled with 3% H2O2 and a bit of powdered Oxiclean, then I put plastic wrap on the top to limit evaporation. About 6 hours later in the hot sun, the parts are deyellowed without streaking.

However...

I always clean my parts very, very well prior to putting them inside the liquid. Washing them with dish soap is good, but you can then try them a follow that up with 409 or 99% ISO Alcohol. Without proper cleaning prior to dunking, unexpected results can happen after deyellowing.
