Hi, I recently resur my G5 by reflowing the U3 memory controller on the logic board and it's working again. I tried calibrating the fans using ASD 2.5.7 on my June 2004 G5. But I get errors for both cpus about this inlet temperature sensor which I'm not sure what that is. I had the plastic door on and the metal side pane. Any ideas?

I've seen mixed reviews with the ASD 2.5.7 restore, ASD 2.5.8 was released which seems to be a little better at running Thermal Calibration. You can download a copy of the ASD 2.5.8 software and burn that to CD by going to https://www.macintoshrepository.org/42546-apple-service-diagnostic-2-5-8
