I recently refurbished a dead NeXT 400 dpi Laser Printer.
First time I deal with laser printers, very fascinating devices, there's a lot to learn.
Anyhow, it's been a matter of - guess what? - recapping every single board, many small caps were totally busted.

Major issue, though, was refurbishing the pick up rollers, no longer gripping.
Since exact spare parts are no longer available, I just used silicone rubber bands, which work perfectly and should be very stable and durable.
I am confident the same trick can be applied to other printers.

If you have a couple of minutes to squander, I also made a video showing the final result (printing is at the very end, after the lengthy boot sequence off the magneto optical drive).
