Hey folks,
So, my clamshell iBook should be arriving between Thursday and Saturday. While it will be a home unit, I know that the battery is most likely dead-and I'd still like to get a battery for it. Where is a good place to get decent after-market batteries for these clamshell iBooks? What's a good battery for these machines? |

AFAIK there are not modern replacements available for purchase (someone please correct me if there's a source I'm not aware of).
You could try to rebuild it yourself with replacement cells, but that is a 'project'. |

It's a pack of 18650 cells. Doable, but not for everyone.

This wasn't recent, but my clamshell BlueberryBook has a Chinese no-name clone battery that seems to work fine. However, it was a few years ago when I purchased it (eBay).
