Age: 43
Height: 6'4" 290# ( who's kidding closer to 300# nowadays) Beard: Because manly beards kick ass. Job: Chef/purchaser acquisitions/food service professional (worn many industry hats over the past 20 years) Strengths: Food, empathy, honesty Weaknesses: Food, empathy, honesty My first computer was a commodore64 (1984ish?). I played a few games on it but really, at the time HE-MAN and Transformers were way cooler, so not much else was learned beyond LOAD "*" 8,1 - the monitor made for a fantastic screen for an NES FYI. My next computer was a 486 in 1993 iirc. Again, played games on it but skateboarding and snowboarding and NES/SNES was way cooler, so not much else was learned. Fast forward to culinary/professional baking school (1996-1999) & I discovered LAN 3D gaming and that was when I really noticed PCs and built my first gaming boxes. As a studio muso (side hustle), I did not discover Macs until as musicians do post-tracking, I noticed the engineers almost exclusively using Apple platforms and protools ... and that dock. Tiger GUI crushed it for me. I bought my first mac second hand in 2006 a 24" imac (still have it) for that home studio purpose and have been absolutely hooked ever since. Come to think of it I haven't bought a new mac ever and probably never will. I love hunting for deals at fleas and thrifting and craigslist free, exploring old OSX, 98se-XP era gaming & boxes and have amassed a nice collection - managed to hang onto that C64 somehow (My scientist Dad did - thanks Dad :giggle:). Not much time for any of this with two little boys (4 & 2) running amuck nowadays & the beautiful love of my life adding to my ever growing honey list, so I live vicariously through all of the wonderful YT content creators out there. And I love to tinker with stuff - take stuff apart to see how it works, fix stuff, break it. Y'all know how that goes. Liked by Mr. Fahrenheit,GenjokeandKai Robinson |

Excuse me. I'm 44 now. Birthdays fly in one ear and out the other these days.
