Looking for ways to replace the clock battery in my G4

So I was wondering, as I am not really savvy with these older Apple Laptops. I wanted to know if anyone online sells drop in replacements for the clock battery or if I will have to open it and change the battery myself?

Which g4 laptop do you have? Some used capacitors where others used batteries. In any of these, you will be opening up the laptop for replacement.
