I seem to remember there being a program back in the day they will allow you to adjust certain system preferences at start up. Like it would remember how fast you had your mouse set, and would automatically restore that at every boot (so that certain preferences became install specific rather than machine specific.

Does anyone else remember this software or recall what it was called?

just found on macintosh garden. gonna download and try it out on 7.5.3
