I am very much surprised that there is seemingly not a definitive list of LocalTalk compatible games for vintage Macintosh.

I am working to resolve this grave injustice, but need your assistance. Check out the list, leave a comment naming any games I've missed. Thanks!

damn it, Master of Orion isn't a multiplayer game. That would have been SO FUN.
(at least 1.0 isn't)

MooII possibly can, but I'm not sure if it's localtalk compatible. It warrants a test!

To clarify, there is a nearly endless list of TCP/IP compatible games... what I'd like to try and do (without muddying the water further) is focus on LocalTalk/AppleTalk compatible titles.

Please add "Avara", the excellent Ambrosia title that features polygon 3D mech battles!

Avara has modern retro ports now too, but the original mac game used round-robin networking via Appletalk or TCP/IP

Doom and Doom II, but you'll need a patch for later versions of Mac OS, and I don't know how laggy it would be on LocalTalk.

Bolo and Marathon, natch.

There's an extensive Mac LAN game list from 1985 to 2008 here:

And don't be fooled by the OS 8-X requirement - that's just because it's an Excel file.
