I'm in there now, downloaded the Appleshare client .smi file as it was the largest one in there. Works perfect, nice download speeds. Set up an upload folder too, then I can test the upload speeds as well Click to expand...
Cool! Thanks for testing!

I don't know how to set upload permissions to an specific folder, but I'd be glad to create a user for you, so you can enter with an authenticated account and then you can upload stuff. Just tell me the nickname you want and I'll send you the password here by private message.

Thanks, it's working fine now. I uploaded a file to test the speeds and I'm getting about 1-1.1MB/sec. Very nice :)

Applefritter has a Hotline server as well: https://www.applefritter.com/content/university-misfire I have fond memories of using Hotline (and Carracho) on the Blue & White G3 at my job in 1999 on a 128kbps IDSN connection. Lightning fast compared to the 33.6 modem at home! Click to expand...
Oh man - Caracho! yes! I remember after Hotline went MIA (or somehow wasn't the place it was, Caracho was what I used next.
