Fantastic research and info, Ron! This needs to be shared with Star Trek sites to make it really take off.
A little disappointing it was a Pee See that did the display creation, but not too surprising for the time. I remember vividly when I first saw the film, thinking to myself, that's not a Mac displaying the screen! Menubar is not edge-to-edge, fonts are wrong, and the window is displayed over an all gray background with nothing visible behind it.
