Hello Tinkerers
Anyone who watched Dave's Vintage Apple Tech stream on Sunday 23rd Nov will have seen this horror show, but while recapping my Mac IIci I dinged the 68030FE25 QFP CPU pins and bent a bunch of them out if shape, and in an attempt to straighten them made this mess. There's about 7 or 8 bent pins, some in the middle are wildly out of whack. It's also pulled up at least 2 pads from the PCB. I need a brave soul to help fix this debacle. The CPU will need to come off and the ripped up pads repaired. I am happy to buy a "new" 68030 is required also, and pay for the rework. I figure it's gotta be a few hours at least of work in there.
