Hey y'all-
I've been a life-long Apple user, started out with a Plus I was given when my school was doing a cleanout. Over the years I was fortunate enough to be gifted many older macs from a local tech charity that did not have use for them. Started out with a Duo210+Dock, Had a Classic, LC II, and then a 4400/200 for awhile. Bought myself a 9600/233 back in 2001 and heavily upgraded it over the next couple years. Had an iBook G3, B&W G3 and DA G4 as well. I spent a lot of time on Macfora (if anyone still remembers that site!) Around 2005ish, I lost interest and sold off most of my stuff. The rest went into storage. I've still been heavily involved with computers, both at work and as a hobby. Always kept a newer MacBook around with all my Windows and Linux gear. This year I put hands back on my remaining collection during a move, and my interest came back. So far, I've got my old 1.5GHz 15" PB up and running with a SSD, as well as my B&W 450. Also picked up a dual 533 machine on eBay and fixed it up. I still have my Plus and a IIgs in storage, although the Plus no longer boots. Headed to look at a local lot of Macs tomorrow as well. It's good to be back! I forgot how much I enjoy these machines, and it is awesome to see folks still using them and developing software for them. Siting here typing this on the DP G4 using Aquafox.
