Is DVD Burning in OS 9 possible? Can toast 5 do it?

I don't recall which version of Toast, but DVD burning works fine with Mac OS 9. Early versions of iDVD even ran on OS 9.

Toast 5 is what I used in OS9. With a compatible DVD burner, OS9 even has built-in burning.

Yes, the feature is available in 9.1 and up. I don't know if it would work on 9.0.x, but I suppose it could if all the necessary bits were transplanted over, since 9.0.x and 9.1 aren't terribly different.

I got it all working using a firewire enclosure. Easiest way and doesn't require a special "superdrive"
