If you've ever tried to register Escape Velocity Nova you know how much of a pain it can be - glad to see this is now available! Runs on modern macOS to generate keys for all Ambrosia Software.

This software was released on 1 October 2023 by Andrew Welch, former president and Chief Thaumaturge of Ambrosia Software. If you have issues with this, please reach out to him, as I'm of no use here (I barely passed my AZ-104 and can't code to save my life). Presumably, since he was president of Ambrosia Software, the company is now defunct, and he was acting ex cathedra when he released this keygen, it is legally permissible and is sanctioned from on high. From his original description: This app lets you generate valid licenses for any Ambrosia products. Hold down the Option key when clicking on the Decode button to make a license that doesn't expire; this is particularly helpful if you decide to publicly post a license code online. Very cool. I wonder if that would work for Ambrosia screen cap apps Snapz Pro and Snapz Pro X?

Taken from a comment posted to Macintosh Garden:

* These apps use "new style" codes that expire if not entered within 1 month.
** These apps can have "retail" codes that don't expire. Licensee name must be a 6-digit number.

OTHER NOTES:
  • Pressing Option and clicking Decode does nothing.
  • Generated codes should still be good for at least 1 month after the date generated.
  • The "Movable" option will create a licence file under /Library/Preferences and therefore requires your username/password.
