Should be a simple search right?
Do Boolean search string modifiers such as -NPT -pipe etc. no longer work on DuckDuckGo or heaven forbid the evil nightmare Google?

Lamp part needed:
1/2-20 nf female to 3/8-24 nf male reducer (female lamp tube thread to male lamp tube thread reducer)

I'm ready to buy a 1/2-20 nf nut, a 3/8-24 nf nut, solder/weld them together and use a short 3/8 all thread lamp tube already.

Anybody feel my pain or better yet have a halfway decent supplier that's not overrun with *@&(#*^*% pipe thread adapters?

TIA

Thanks much, ludicrous descriptions of thread specs, but ordered just to see. +-Ordered a pair for $11.55 just in case.

The thread spec page is not to be believed!

No prob. Almost looks like they're trying to do the whitworth sizing of wrenches, but with thread diameters... lol

Thanks a bunch! Tried the fit yesterday and the threads match. Hopefully the head spacing on the half inch end will work out.
