Repairing an LC logic board with a bad 15 pin video connector. Can these be sourced or do I need to rob from a bad board? The only bad board I have is for a Quadra 700. Visually it looks slightly different. Do I need to find a bad LC board?
Computer booted and runs fine. I was planning on recapping but this connector was loose and unreliable. I removed it. If I cannot source the connector easily I may put this project on the back burner. |

I believe one of these would probably fit - Please review the data sheet before you purchase though to ensure the footprint matches the one you have on the LC. Search for dsub standard 2 row 15 pin female - might be able to find em on Amazon or eBay too if you dont have anything else to order from mouser/digikey.

Thanks for the quick response. I really don;t want to part out the machine. Everything looks good except that part. First time I have run into that. For some reason the ground connectors to the lugs were missing. Not sure why. That is what made it loose.
