Hello lovely guys, could anybody recommend a vegan food processor/blender mainly for nuts? Mine's 30+ years old, and while its still pretty good, it can't process nuts smoothly. I need my ice cream fix!
Thanks |

For sheer power and ability to emulsify, I am a fan of my vitamix 5200. We had four of these in the last kitchen I managed and those things were used all day long for everything from retail shakes, malts, lassis and smoothies to emulsified dressings and marinades to dips, soups, general meez and other concoctions. We used the you know whats off of them every single day for years and their engine and drive train did not break. I had one where its power cable broke, so I just stuck another one on and back into service it went. They're built like a tank. Truthfully however there are many mixers in that class made by a multitude of brands from Hamilton, Ninja, Mueller, Ava, Waring etc. that all would probably emulsify soaked nuts just fine for your vegan needs.
