I bought a few of the excellent external battery holders from @Ron's Computer Videos at VCF East a few weeks ago. After recapping my SE/30's analog board I decided to try one out. Because I prefer to keep vintage gear original and intact, I made a proxy battery that fits the stock battery holder with leads to attach to the external holder. I used a piece of 1/2" wooden dowel and 2 thumbtacks. I figured it was an idea worth sharing.
