I have seen there is a badges section but it looks as if no badges have yet been created? I think it'd be pretty neat to see badges for certain things, just wondering why it hasn't been implemented yet.

Something likes badges for being skilled in certain categories or machines, services, or even status in terms of replies and projects in the community I think would be amazing.

I second! :D[peace]
Each of us has a particular skill set. While some of us may excel with recapping, others may be better at software engineering or even graphics. |

Hey @jajan547 and @eric, I can help design the badges. :) It could be smaller than the profile avatars and below the admin and tinkerer level status. Or a small circle to the bottom right of the avatar.

@jajan547 - maybe, similar to the Scouts, we could have accomplishments or badges on our profile pages. We could create different badge designs and levels. :)

Yeah, @jajan547! When someone clicks on the chevron arrow below the badge, whatever badge that member has will reveal as a drop-down below the stats and location of that member. The member chooses the default badge out of the badges in the collection. Then, the rest of the badges show by clicking the chevron arrow.

So here's my thoughts category ranks such as different levels in increments of 5 where you get a badges for helping others. This could be applied in both diagnosing issues, resolving issues, new creations of the community, etc. These are just a few ideas, what are your thoughts @retr01?

Yeah, @jajan547, the same thing that I was thinking. I thought of increments in six since there are six colors that TinkerDifferent generally uses. After the sixth, move on to the next level of another six.
I will PM you. |
