I've read elsewhere on the interwebs that you should be able to install and run AppleWorks 6, or most any other PPC software, on an Intel Mac up to Lion with Rosetta. Things I've seen specifically reference AppleWorks working in this way including the installer. However, this 2006 Mac Pro I have doesn't want to cooperate in either Tiger or Snow Leopard. I've enabled running Installer using rosetta (Utilities > Installer > Get Info) but still get compatibility errors. Anyone have any thoughts on what I ought to try next? It's not a huge deal. I've got other office applications to use, I've just been enjoying AW and would like to have it as a bridge from my B&W G3.
