There is a persistent graphics glitch on on recently obtained Cube. Attached are pictures with the computer booted and the other is the pattern on the screen between shutdown and complete power off, i just thought it showed the pattern the best. The glitch to the right of the mouse moves with the mouse. Some form of the pattern is continuously there although the lines may come on and off and flicker at times. No improvement on PR RAM and CUDA reset; still present on LCD screen. Removed the 2 memory chips and tested with each and it is still there. With the Apple Hardware test CD ver 1.1 on quick test it does fail at logic board, goes to a prompt to see if I want to continue booting, then if yes (type "mac-boot") cycles looking for boot discs. With the Apple hardware test CD ver 1.1 extended test the result is the same. IS there a chip in particular I need to look at, ? capacitor problem; does the pattern give ny hints of where to start?

It was just the video card, switch out some faceplates cards etc and found a working AGP ATI 3d with no glitches

I do not have personal experience, I just have read somewhere that reflowing the chips might help with artifacts on screen. Some have done this in ordinary oven.
