I put a comment on the developer's YouTube channel asking about a 2X upscale (nearest neighbor) and the lack of sound. He said the 2x upscale is doable, but he avoided the sound effects, thinking most people would turn them off anyway.

I dumped the entire Afterdark screen saver pack resources for him - comes out to about 500mb of assets. Hopefully he can do some cool stuff with it.
