Well I can't gloat - I hit the bullet and just paid auction prices for one.
It's been in my bucket list for a bit. Esp because my fav in is the similar m0116 Apple standard keyboard --

I have gotten used to its key arrangement and now I can't go back lol. My AEK 1 is just a big honker... I'll prob let it retire for now sadly - too big and I like the other nonstandard key layout!

well we will see how it is when it arrives.

Got the keyboard today -- just taking it for a first spin. Must say - Wowie this sure is cool.
I'm probably going to make this message extra long and unnecessarily so just because... it's fun to type on this.

I'm mainly comparing this against the ALPS orange -based M0115 and M0116 (my personal fav prior to getting the new A9M0330).

I gotta give it some time before I can say this with more certainty -but I think the feel of these A9M0330 SMK alps-mount keys bests the ALPS SKCM orange. They feel tighter than the alps orange, shallower too. Overall first impression - I love it!

two of the keys weren't super reliable the first few minutes but I spent 5 minutes just pressing those two down over and over and over and they've worked themselves out and are fine now -- which is great, as I would have been a bit disappointed if I had to replace switches (or swap them with less-useful keys) right off the bat. $80 bucks but I think well worth it.

One of the things I really wasn't interested in dealing with was the sheer SIZE of the M0115 Apple Extended Keyboard. It just dominates my whole desktop. With this guy, I'm back to lean and mean -- even more than with my M0116 Apple Standard Keyboard!

it's a bit yellow - I'll prob retro bright it
