April 13, 2024 Board Meeting

Attendance:

Agenda:

Item 1:

Governance Policies

Notes:

• Board Governance Policies have been agreed upon and now they need to be presented to the Forum
• An internal page will be created which lists the policies, and one final vote will be held before announcement and release

Action Items:

• @Androda will create the forum page internally for final review
• All Board Members will perform the final review and vote on that page
• Once review is complete, the page will be made a sibling of the Forum Conduct node
• Bruce (@Branchus) will create an Announcement thread for the governance page, posted on Forum and Discord

Item 2:

Board Member Resignation

Notes:

• A Board Member has resigned due to personal reasons

Action Items:

• The Board will begin the process of filling the position
• @Kai Robinson will perform both roles in the interim
• @Branchus to announce the resignation

Item 3:

Subforums Consolidation

Notes:

• There are many Monitors subforums
  • Most CRT monitors are similar enough that they can probably be condensed under a single Monitors section
• The Peripherals sections have similarly been splintered into a wide variety of categories and it's confusing where people should go to post their threads

Action Items:

• @Kai Robinson will work on the consolidation effort
